Harrisonburg Police Officer Charged With Traffic Infraction

HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- A Harrisonburg police officer has been cited for a traffic infraction.

Lt. Kurt Boshart faces a following too closely charge, according to court records.

The charge stems from a crash on June 27 on East Market Street. No one was seriously hurt in the crash, although Boshart's vehicle sustained significant front-end damage.

He is due in court on July 30 at 9 a.m and only faces a fine.
