HARRISONBURG -- The Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance group made its presentation for an urban park to Harrisonburg City Council Tuesday evening.
The next four months the group will conduct a study with eight other firms to decide if the Turner Pavilion in Harrisonburg would best suit the urban park. The study will use private funds, not the city's money. The group hopes to expand the farmer's market and add permanent restrooms. The city did not receive a proposal or vote on the matter.
