HARRISONBURG, VA (WHSV) -- The Department of Public Works in Harrisonburg will be performing maintenance on two bridges, starting Monday.

During the repairs to the bridges on Chesapeake Avenue and North Main Street only one lane of traffic will be open.

The bridge on North Main Street is near the Rockingham County Administration Building.

According to a press release, bridges are inspected every year for routine maintenance. These two were found to be in need of repairs, but city leaders say the bridges are still safe for traffic.

Work is expected to be completed around Friday, September 27th.
