HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) Insurance companies across the nation are having to find ways around HealthCare.gov to sign people up for plans under the Affordable Care Act.
Monday, President Obama urged people to do the same and acknowledged the website needs help.
Blue Ridge Insurance Services plans on adding a link to its website that will allow people to sign up for plans.
"The link is important, because you've got to determine if you're qualified for a subsidy and the only way you could do that is to go up on that link and do that. I know that its been said that you can make a phone call too and that's probably true, but it's just going to be a lot easier," said Steve Flora, who is a broker with Blue Ridge Insurance Services.
Flora says it is unclear when the link will be live because it partially relies on HealthCare.gov.
