West Virginia will have some new faces in its legislature this session.
One of them, Delegate Isacc Spounagle, represents Hardy and parts of Pendleton county.
He will be officially introduced to the legislature on Wednesday on opening day.
The first day of the session however, won't be until February 13th.
Spounagle already has topics he wants to tackle.
He said job growth and transportation are at the top of his list.
He said investing in a project that would link I-79 to 1-81 could help solve this problem.
"That's one of my goals, anyway that we can speed up the completion of corridor H in the state of West Virginia," he said. It would certainly help the whole area. That access to transportation. Just like 1-81 has helped Harrisonburg, Virginia," Spounagle said.
Other issues he said would be likely to be brought in the legislature would focus on education reform and overcrowding at jails.
