HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) Students and community members will gather Tuesday morning to hear from former President Bill Clinton who is campaigning with Democratic candidate for governor Terry McAuliffe.

Monday night, volunteers were assembling Festival Hall's ballroom where the event will take place.

"I think it's a great opportunity not only for students who are politically involved, but also those who may not be as aware of politics. You know, having somebody who is former president come and speak directly to students," said Megan Dimaiolo, the President of the JMU College Democrats.

The event kicks off at 10:30 a.m. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.
