CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. An active little boy learns true independence with a new bike. Specially made to fit his needs thanks to some JMU engineering students.
Troy Haverstorm has cerebral palsy and until now was not able to ride a bike. The bike has two back wheels and other gears to let him move the bike easily. This is part of a project that helps kids with disabilities become more active and independent.
This is the fourth time JMU students have created a bike for someone with a disability.
