James Madison Board Approves Tuition, Fee Hikes

Harrisonburg James Madison University's Board of Visitors approve a tuition increase, at Friday's meeting.

In-state tuition and fees at James Madison University will increase by $302 for the upcoming academic year.

Virginia students will pay $5,406 in tuition and fees. Out-of-state students will pay $20,266, a $684 increase.Graduate student fees also will increase. Virginia residents will pay an additional $24 per credit hour, while out-of-state students will pay another $40.Room and board will increase by $309 to $8,828.
