Julian Parrott Remembrance

STAUNTON, Va. (WHSV)-- Friends of Parrott's family wore special pins, danced with Ronald Mcdonald in the park, listened to music from the Stonewall Brigade Band, and bought food from one of Julian's favorite places, the Lions Club concession stand.

Julian's mom, Lizzie Parrott, and his aunt, Nancy Parrott, were among the many people who filled Gypsy Hill Park to remember him.

"Julian is in heaven, as we all know. And he's looking down tonight and he's probably having a blast with what's going on tonight. That means so much to me and so much to everybody in this beautiful community," said Lizzie Parrott.

Many came out to the park, a true testament to how Julian lit up the community.
