BROADWAY, Va -- The Village Library will move to a new location on Main St by next year and it will be more than double the size it is now. The Village Friends organization donated $50,000 to help with the renovations.

Barbara Andes, the library's manager, said the move is great news. She said with the bigger space they can add more book collections. Plus, she said it will be more comfortable for the people who visit.

"It really can become quite a zoo in here and it can become just overwhelming with lots of people in a very small space,” said Andes. “So it's going to be nice to have more room and to have more room for collection, but also more room for programming."

Andes also said the library will be more conveniently located on Main St. The Broadway Police Department will move into the building where the Village Library is now.
