Gas prices continue to drop, and lots of people in the Valley are happy about it. Many say they'd like to see prices go down even more, and according to AAA, we may be in luck.

A recent AAA report says we should see gas prices drop through the end of the year.

Prices have gone down steadily over the last couple months.

Right now we're seeing about $3.09 for a gallon of regular in Rockingham and Augusta counties, and closer to $3.15 in Page County.

One man getting gas in the Valley Monday night says he drives to New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland every week for work, so he'd like to see prices get even lower.

"Well I'm OK with it, it's heading in the right direction, we're not there yet, so it is going down and that's an asset to our business," said Dennis Sigmon at the pump.

Sigmon says his business would be more efficient if prices dropped lower since he needs to drive a lot for work.

Many other at the pump Monday night agree and hope to see prices continue in this direction.
