PAGE COUNTY -- A law enforcement official in the Valley described how his department would handle a large-scale manhunt, like the one in Boston for the bombing suspect.

Jason Pettit, a major with the Page County Sheriff's Office, said it would take teamwork and coordination to keep people safe. He said small towns could also face news that goes nationwide.

“If you look at a location such as ours, being a small town, we're just like any other small town in America. If it was a horrific event that would happen, it would be broadcast everywhere as well,” said Pettit.
