With the Super Bowl this weekend, sports bars around the Valley are getting ready for the big game.

At A.J. Gators in Harrisonburg, they are gearing up for a big turnout on Sunday. Even though many people go to house parties, restaurant workers said they were pleasantly surprised with last year's crowd.

The restaurant made special shirts for the party, and they will have a raffle with different prizes. Like many restaurants around the Valley on Sunday, they will have a buffet and a fun atmosphere.

"It's so much fun. Everyone gets really excited. It's fun to see the winning team, and everyone cheers," said Brittany Wolchak, a server and bartender at A.J. Gators.

Another way local businesses are reaching out is through catering for house parties. As for A.J. Gators and other restaurants, they'll be busy throughout the weekend getting orders ready.
