BOWIE, Md. (AP) Prince George's County fire officials say a 20-year-old Bowie man has been arrested in connection with a dangerous prank that led to the evacuation of a movie theater in Largo.

Fire officials say Manuel Joyner is also a suspect in several similar incidents.

Over the past month, several theaters in northern Virginia have been evacuated because of loud popping sounds resembling explosions. Authorities say someone has used a device described as a "bottle bomb," in which baking soda and vinegar or other materials are placed inside a plastic bottle, causing it to pop.

Joyner was arrested Saturday. He's been charged with a felony in the Largo incident, which occurred on May 24.

A person who answered the phone at Joyner's home on Sunday said she was unaware of the arrest.
