AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) -- An Augusta County man has been arrested on eight charges related to breaking and entering incidents in the northern part of the county.
Kassidy Sawyers, 30, of Mount Sidney, was arrested Wednesday, according to the sheriff's office.
He broke into two newly constructed homes and tried stealing appliances, according to an investigator.
The investigator said he also broke into a third home, but no one was home at the time. The homes are in the in the Mount Sydney and Weyers Cave areas.
The investigator also said stolen property was later found at Sawyers' house.
In addition to the three breaking and entering charges, Sawyers faces one count of obstructing justice, two counts of grand larceny, one count of petit larceny and one count of receiving stolen goods. More charges could be pending, according to the sheriff's office.
Sawyers is currently out on bond.
