AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. -- Stephen Vance faces four years in prison after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
Back in 2010, Vance hit and killed Lucille Wheeler, who was in her 80s, as she mowed her lawn and he was driving his truck. Vance was on the synthetic drug spice at the time.
He suffered several mental health issues, including attention deficit disorder, depression and anxiety.
Vance will go to prison to start his term on Monday.
