Harrisonburg, Va. (WHSV) --- This New Year's Day people in the valley occupied their time at the movie theaters. Many moviegoers opting to see Frozen, a new Disney animation.
According to a ticket clerk at the Regal cinemas in Harrisonburg, the top two popular movies were frozen and the hunger games catching fire.
David See who watched The Wolf of Wall Street said the movies was the perfect place to spend this New Year's Day with friends.
"It's just something to do. It's pretty cold outside, everybody had the day off. So I guess the movies was a good option," said See.
The Hollywood reporter said Frozen earned $500 million at the worldwide box office, just over the Christmas holiday.
