WYTHEVILLE, Va. (AP) -- Virginia State Police have identified a North Carolina woman who was killed in one of three related wrecks on Interstate 81 in Wythe County.

State police spokeswoman Corinne Geller said Wednesday that 56-year-old Tanya D. Mann of Zirconia, N.C., was driving an SUV that hit an overturned tractor-trailer early Tuesday morning.

The northbound tractor-trailer had run off the interstate and overturned in the median and one southbound lane. The driver, 53-year-old Philip O. Emiabata of Pflugerville, Texas, was charged with reckless driving.

A second tractor-trailer driver was killed when his northbound rig hit a piece of guardrail damaged in the first wreck and ran off the interstate. Geller identified the victim as 34-year-old James R. Anderson of Decherd, Tenn.

A passenger in the second tractor-trailer was injured.
