Valley Concert will Benefit Cancer Patient Nathaniel Neff

HARRISONBURG,Va. (WHSV)-- Nathan Neff was diagnosed with cancer last June. He's undergone numerous treatments and even had to undergo a bone marrow transplant.

A close friend of Neff is hosting a benefit concert on June 28. She hopes that with donations and sales from local venders, it will help pay for another possible transplant.

Neff said that it means the world to him when people come out and help.

"People that I don't even know that have known people that have been through something like this have handed me money, maybe because they couldn't help the person that they want to, but they wanted to help somebody," said Neff.

The vendors show opens at 9 a.m. and the concert starts at 9 p.m., both at the Harrisonburg Eagles Lodge. Admission into the concert is $10.
