VIRGINIA With pressure building across the country to better address sexual misconduct on college campuses, one local university announces a new campaign to help fix the problem.
A report out by the University of Virginia said, 50 percent of reported sexual assaults take place during the first three months of school.
Now, the U.Va. initiative called "Hoos Got Your Back" aims to reduce this statistic by making people more aware of their surroundings and encouraging people to speak up if they see something.
