New Details: McDonnell Court Documents

RICHMOND, Va. Former Governor Bob McDonnell's lawyers acknowledging he was angry after his wife's interview in February 2013 with police, saying it was not what she said, but claims she was interviewed under false pretenses.

According to a report in the Richmond times Dispatch this morning, prosecutors want to introduce Maureen McDonnell's statements to show the Former Governor became angry about about what talked about, to explain how he acted later on.

In other court documents filed on Monday, Prosecutors asked permission to ask leading questions of eight McDonnell family members, saying they received something of value from former Star Scientific CEO Johnnie Williams. Defense lawyers also asking to now allow Prosecutors to submit evidence about a trip to South Carolina saying the Former Governor failed to disclose the family trip paid for by the resort owner.
