Wild Woods Bar-B-Q is serving food and drinks right next to the Heritage Oaks golf course and it is not just for the golfers.

The Bridgewater based restaurant opened its doors last Friday. They sell barbecue sandwiches, hamburgers and hot dogs.

"We hope that this will increase golf revenue for the city here through Heritage Oaks,” said Larry French, the owner of Wild Woods. “It's also a good restaurant for the local community here on this side of town. We hope that they'll come try us out as well."

All golfers have to do is drive right up to the window to get their food.

The city wanted a restaurant that was a good fit for the course and the patrons. They chose Wild Woods Bar-B-Q over two other restaurants.

French said their main goal is to make it a convenient option for golfers and families in the Valley.
