No Injuries in Small Plane Crash in Manassas

MANASSAS, Va. (AP) -- Officials say a small plane crashed and overturned on a runway at the Manassas Regional Airport.

No one was injured in the crash, which occurred about 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

City of Manassas spokeswoman Patty Prince says one person was on board the single engine Cessna 172 when it crashed on landing.

Prince says the runway where the crash occurred is closed while Manassas officials and Prince William County fire departments investigate and clean up.
