There are 67days until the election and the Obama campaign now has a new office in Staunton. The group behind the office hopes more people will stop in since it's located right on Beverley Street downtown.
The old office used to run out of a volunteer's apartment, so it wasn't easily accessible. Being centrally located will give supporters an easier time over the next couple months.
Virginia is a hot spot in this election. 41 offices have been opened across the state.
Staunton Team Leader Barbara Lee said Team Obama plans to work hard to make sure The President is re-elected.
"It's bringing in a lot of people from all over the area, which is a good thing. The campaign is run a little different this year, but it's still the same purpose. It's to re-elect The President."
The office encourages you to stop by if you'd like to volunteer, or if you still need to register to vote.
