President Barack Obama is set to begin a two-day swing through battleground Virginia to tout his economic plan.
Obama will speak at Green Run High School in Virginia Beach on Friday before traveling to Hampton, where he'll appear at Phoebus High School. Hours later, Obama will speak at a Roanoke fire station.
On Saturday, the president will travel to the Richmond area to speak at Walkerton Tavern in Glen Allen and then campaign at Centreville High School in Clifton in northern Virginia.
Obama's visit comes as former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling campaign for GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney in Richmond and as the nation's governors gather in Williamsburg for their annual summer meeting.
