ROCKINGHAM COUNTY,Va. (WHSV) -- A new paintball arena is coming to Rockingham County after approval from the Board of Supervisors.

Five acres of land will be fenced off for the venue.

The owner plans to call it the Peak Paintball Store.

If you plan to go there, you will not be allowed to bring your own equipment due to safety concerns.

"In the first phase that we put together, we're going to be do a ticket booth, retail sales, small retail sales, a one paintball field with a rock climbing and what's called a shooting gallery," said Terry Withrow, the owner of Peak Paintball.

The first phase of the project will be completed in January. Peak Paintball is expected to be completed by next summer.
