HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- Before the storm hits, a number of people spent time buying groceries at Red Front Supermarket.

The store manager says there was a line outside the door before they opened at noon on Sunday.

They are expecting double the amount of sales on Sunday. One shopper is buying some extra things for herself and her pets.

"I just want to make sure that I'm prepared. It's better to have more than not enough. Bird seed, I got cat food, I got milk and I got munchies for me and I got some hamburger. Make some big hamburgers for tomorrow," said Pat Mather, a shopper.

Red Front Supermarket plans to open at 7 a.m. on Monday, but it will all depend on the weather. They will be monitoring conditions overnight.
