People Want Cameras In Gypsy Hill Park

STAUNTON, Va. - In the wake of the murder of Julian Parrott, some people are looking at ways to make Gypsy Hill Park safer and among the options are having cameras installed.

Friends of Parrott say they've contacted local delegates to find funding to have camera's installed in the park.

They think camera's would help deter crimes from happening in the park.

"If people know that there is security somewhere, they're a lot more careful, and they're a lot less to cause trouble and get into trouble," says Joanne Rockwell who lives in Staunton.

Friends of Parrott are also looking into getting more lights installed in the park.
