Project Grows Exposes Children to Gardening

VERONA, VA A farm in Verona is helping children learn the importance of gardening.

The farm is planted and harvested by local kids. They grow fruits and vegetables such as onions and tomatoes. The project's mission is to expose children to gardening, and teach them how to live and eat healthy.

Project Grows produce can be found at the North Augusta Farmer's Market. The group donates half of the food they grow and sell the other half in order to raise money to assist other programs.
