Police Investigate Burglary at Food Pantry

The Winchester Police Department is investigating a burglary at Adventist Community Services.

WINCHESTER, Va. (WHSV) -- The Winchester Police Department is investigating a burglary at Adventist Community Services.

Just before 1 p.m. officers responded to Seventh-Day Adventist Church in the 1500 block of Valley Avenue.

When officers arrived they found that someone had damaged three doors at the food pantry and gained entry through one of the doors. Nonperishable and perishable food items were taken as well as wrapping paper.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Crime Solvers HOTLINE at 540-665-TIPS. Information leading to the arrest of a suspect could result in a reward.
