UPDATE: Police Investigate Incident in Harrisonburg

A large number of police are responding to the Exxon Station on Port Republic Road in Harrisonburg.

HARRISONBURG - UPDATE: 5/4/2014 7:45 p.m.
A 20-year-old man is charged with grand larceny, driving with a suspended license, and property damage after police arrested him Saturday night.

It happened at the Exxon Station on Port Republic Road in Harrisonburg. Officers realized they had found a 2000 GMC Sierra Van that had been reported stolen from Harrisonburg earlier Saturday.

They made the traffic stop at the Exxon and arrested Malcolm Roberts of Bridgewater around 10 Saturday night.

He is being held at the Rockingham County Jail.


A large number of police are responding to the Exxon Station on Port Republic Road in Harrisonburg.

We've gotten reports of multiple units on scene at this location.

We know at least one person has been taken into custody.

Harrisonburg dispatchers confirm police are investigating an incident that happened here. At this point, they're unable to confirm what exactly is being investigated.
