Police: Man Faces Multiple Charges After Molesting Child

AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) -- Augusta County sheriff's deputies arrested a Staunton man accused of molesting a 15-year-old girl.

36-year-old Kevin Eagle is charged with six sex-related felonies in connection with with alleged crimes, which police say took place in 2007.

An Augusta County grand jury indicted Eagle on July 28 after the complaint came forward with the accusations. Deputies say the accuser is a family member.

Eagle was previously convicted in 2013 in Augusta County on 12 counts of felony possession of child pornography.

He is currently serving a 3-year prison sentence and being held at the Greensville Correctional Center in Jarratt.

Eagle is scheduled to appear in Augusta County Circuit Court on Aug. 11.
