ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) -- Crews worked today to recover a vehicle from the South Fork Shenandoah River.

On Monday, a man was parked near the dock and after beginning to choke on his sandwich, he left his car, according to state police.

However, when he left his car, police say he failed to put the car in park. That's when his vehicle rolled into the river.

The man did not suffer any injuries from his choking and no one was hurt when the vehicle entered the river.
