STAUNTON, Va. (WHSV) -- A Greenville woman is facing charges after police say she stole a television from a person's home.

Marlena Montoya, 35, stole a 19-inch television out of a home about a month ago, according to Staunton police.

Police say she took the television to a local pawn shop and sold it. They tracked her down after using a receipt with her name on it from the pawn store.

She was arrested by officers with the Augusta County Sheriff's Office.

She is now facing a charge of obtaining money through false pretenses.
