HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- In just a number of days, people will be going to the polls to elect the next leaders in Richmond.
Women may be the key to who wins.
We spoke with a political analyst about the social issues swaying women voters.
Democrats criticize Republican candidate Ken Cuccinelli's positions on abortion, women's reproductive health and even divorce.
Polls show Cuccinelli struggling to connect with women in his race against Democrat Terry McAuliffe.
Political analysts we spoke with say Cuccinelli is trying to appeal to women voters through a new commercial featuring his family.
"In other words, don't worry about the social issues, look at me as a human being. I'm really good.. I have a strong family, I take care of my family, my family loves me, that's persuasive," said Dr. Roberts.
Dr. Roberts says that's worked for Senator Mark Obenshain in the race for attorney general.
