Randy Taylor Indicted in Murphy Disappearance

Lovingston, VA - A grand jury believes there's probable cause for the man accused of abducting Alexis Murphy to go on trial.

According to a news release from the Nelson County Commonwealth's Attorney, Randy Taylor was indicted on two felonies Tuesday morning; abducting Murphy and a new, unrelated charge for possessing a stolen ATV.

Taylor waived his right to a preliminary hearing.

Nelson County Commonwealth's Attorney Anthony Martin says he is scheduled to be back in court on October 23 to set a trial date.
