BRIDGEWATER, Va. (WHSV) -- A $9 million renovations project at Bridgewater College is still on schedule.

College staff said the project also still on budget.

Workers broke ground on renovations to Nininger Hall in July which will include a renovated gym classrooms and a lab.

"We want to continue to recruit the highest caliber of students we can and when student athletes are looking at various schools in our conference, we want facilities that are going to stand out and make us look special and we know that's going to happen when this building's finished,"said Abbie Parkhurst, a Bridgewater College spokeswoman.

The facilities should be ready for use by this fall.
