HARRISONBURG, Va -- The owner of A Bowl of Good celebrated a grand opening on Thursday at a new location in east Harrisonburg on Port Republic Road.

Katrina Didot, the owner, said it will draw in more crowds from James Madison University and businesses on that side of town. She said they buy all their food locally and their tables and bowls are locally made as well.

Didot said they had no problem adding another location because they have had lots of good business at their first restaurant near Eastern Mennonite University. She said a tough economy actually helps less expensive restaurants, like hers.

"People are staying away from expensive sit down restaurants and they are going to something they can afford and that's what we offer and we happen to have an awesome product that people really enjoy," said Didot.

The owners are hoping to have the same success with the new location as they had with the first one.
