ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va -- The Harrisonburg Rockingham SPCA is having their annual 'Home for the Holidays' event. You can adopt a cat or a dog that has been spayed or neutered for just $25.
The pets will come with all of their shots and will be micro-chipped.
Sarah Duncan adopted two kittens for her two kids. She said they were going to get them for Christmas, but went a little early for the deal. The toughest part of the adoption for her family was figuring out a name.
"Not yet, I've heard Pumpkin Pie, Jessie. I've heard Pilot. I've heard they might want to change their names for Christmas. But, no official names yet, except for the ones they came with," said Duncan.
Duncan said her family has been preparing for at least a year to welcome the new pets.
