HARRISONBURG (WHSV)-- UPDATE FRIDAY 8:35 P.M. Missing Stanley teen found.
Stanley Police say Rochelle Brill has been located and is safe and in the custody of her mother. This case is still under investigation and no further details can be released at this time.
The search for a missing teenager from Stanley is now a criminal investigation, according to Chief Tim Foster from the Stanley Police Department.
Police now believe Rochelle Brill-Washington, 15, is with an adult. The Virginia State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force is now assisting in the investigation, Foster said.
Foster said a lot of rumors have been flying around about where she might be, but he said police don't know her location right now.
She is 5 feet 2 inches tall, with brown hair, brown eyes, and dark complexion. She went missing from her home on East Main Street in Stanley, Va., and was last seen at midnight on Oct. 30.
