STAUNTON, Va. (WHSV) -- The Hunt Gallery at Mary Baldwin College is showcasing the work of some of its art students.

The exhibit shows off the artists' senior projects, a goal they've been working toward since their freshman year. With all the hours they've put into it, the artists said it's satisfying to see their finished work on display.

"You kind of look at it with a different eye, and it just looks so different on the wall, with the gallery and the lighting. So it's definitely, to me, transformed," said Shelley Rubiani, a senior at Mary Baldwin College.

"Having them here and having them lit is such an incredible experience because you can see the shadows that the forms convey, and it's really wonderful," said Jessie Rublee, another senior at Mary Baldwin College.

The current exhibit runs until Sunday.
