BRIDGEWATER, Va. (WHSV) -- Bridgewater could soon be getting more access to health care.
Sentara RMH is considering buying about eight acres of land to add a new facility. Town leaders who have lived in Bridgewater for decades say it would be a big help to the community.
"I've been with the town of Bridgewater for 41 years. I've seen some good things happen here, but I think this would be just about the best,” explained Bridgewater Town Superintendent, Bob Holton.
The price of the land is set at about $614,000.
You can voice your opinion about the sale of the land at a public hearing in Bridgewater Tuesday night. That meeting kicks off at 7:30 p.m. in the town hall's council chambers.
