ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) -- Wednesday is a big day for the Rockingham County Fair.
The Goo Goo Dolls are coming to the Valley and will be joined by Daughtry and the Plain White T's.
The three groups travel big. Earlier Wednesday, five semi-trucks were needed to unload all the gear, which is more than Alan Jackson brought last year.
This is the second of three big nights at the Pepsi Grandstand. Tuesday night, more than 5,000 people came out for country music night.
Organizers added a rock show this year because they say a lot of people have been asking for rock.
"This is the first real tour we've ever had come to the Rockingham County Fair. Rolling Stone named it their number 11 summer concert tour for rock and roll. There aren't many times we're going to have a Rolling Stones tour coming through here in Harrisonburg, Virginia. It's here, so come on out and watch us tonight," said Michael Gochenour, the Rockingham County Fair Association president.
The show starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are still available.
Parking shouldn't be an issue, but you might want to give yourself some extra time to avoid traffic because more than 4,000 people are expected.
Thursday is another big night with local favorite Old Crow Medicine Show performs.
