SHENANDOAH COUNTY, Va. (WHSV)-- Police said they're proud of the communities that came together to clean up after the storms did damage over the weekend.

The Shenandoah County Fire and Rescue team received ten 911 calls yesterday during the storm.

Strasburg saw much of the damage as they rolled through around
on early evening June 8.

We know the storms packed strong winds, heavy rain, and hail which piled up across the county.
Thankfully, we have not gotten word of any injuries.

Strasburg police are thankful for the help they got right after the storm.

"I was monitoring the radio. I could hear the storm picking up, going through the county, there were limbs down all over the county. It seems to me that this storm burst just happened to target the Strasburg area heavily," said Deputy Chief Jerome Robinson, of the Strasburg Police Department.

The storm caused more than $75,000 in damage in Strasburg.
