HARRISONBURG, Va. -- The Harrisonburg Department of Public Utilities will soon begin a project to extend a sewer main along Ramblewood Road.

Starting Thursday, December 5, crews will begin installing approximately 280 feet of eight-inch sanitary sewer main in the 2500 block of Ramblewood Road.

This project is intended to extend sewer service to an area that currently does not have sewer availability.

Ramblewood Road will not be closed during the construction, but traffic delays can be expected throughout the duration of this project.

The Department of Public Utilities expects the project to be complete within one month.

This project schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions and unforeseen maintenance on equipment.
