LYNDHURST, Va. (WHSV) -- Now you can help out a local animal shelter with just a click of your mouse.

The Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center has launched its own Wish List on Amazon.com. A lot of the supplies are things the shelter needs and uses every day. You can order items from Amazon and have them shipped straight to the center.

The shelter constantly battles overcrowding and works under a tight budget.

Lindsey Huffman, the center's assistant director, said she hopes the convenience will boost donations.

"We have been getting quite a few donations this week, which has been really awesome. We've actually had FedEx and UPS here almost every day, which is great," said Huffman.
