SHENANDOAH COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) -- Mandy Belyea will be joining Shenandoah County’s administration as the director of finance.
She is currently the director of finance for the Town of Woodstock, a position she has held since becoming the town's first director of finance in 2006. Before that, Belyea worked for KPMG LLP, a public accounting firm, where she oversaw federal and local government audits.
Belyea holds a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Arts from Bridgewater College. In addition, she holds a CPA through the Commonwealth of Virginia.
“We are very excited to have Mandy join our administration” said County Administrator Mary T. Price. “Mandy’s knowledge and practical work experience in the field of municipal finance, her education and confident personality made her the logical candidate. Mandy is going to make a great addition to our team.”
Belyea is a longtime resident of Shenandoah County and a 1998 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School. She lives in Shenandoah County with her husband and three children.

She will begin her new position on July 1, 2014 and her salary will be $80,524.
