Shenandoah County Schools Adjust Schedule

SHENANDOAH COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) -- The Shenandoah County School Board changed the schedule for four upcoming days, due to snow days this past winter.

May 2 will be a full day, rather than a 1 p.m dismissal; June 12 will now be a full day, rather than a 1 p.m dismissal; June 13 will be the last day of school with a 1 p.m. dismissal and June 16 will be a professional work day for staff.

The board approved these changes at its Wednesday night meeting.

The adjustments will ensure that SCPS will meet the minimum number of instructional hours required by state law.
