Sheriff's Office Raises Money for American Cancer Association

HARRISONBURG, Va. -- The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office has set up in front of the Red Front grocery store in Harrisonburg to help raise money for Relay For Life.

On top of donations, they're also raising money from selling hotdogs in front of the store and to fit in their "kids safety" theme, they let kids see inside of their patrol and armored vehicles.

The manager of Red Front says it important for people to help out.

"There's no one that you talk to that's not affected by cancer in some way, so it's definitely something that affects everyone regardless of race, color, creed, etc. so we definitely glad to be part of that and it makes you feel good to get out there and do your part," says General Manager, John Garber
