Virginia State Police has released the name of the woman who died as a result of a head-on collision on Saturday.
According to VSP, Tina Louise Schrenk, 34, was killed when her car was hit by a SUV on Route 608 near the Hollister plant.
Three others were taken to Augusta Health for medical attention.
Trooper Troy Johnson said the 16-year-old girl driving the SUV told police she had lost control of the vehicle because of icy conditions on the bridge.
Johnson said the charges for the driver are still pending and the crash remains under investigation.
